The best option is the Bourbon Tower (rooms were renovated in 2007) or the Orleans Tower (rooms were renovated in 2003). Many areas of the property have been renovated, but there are still older rooms with tired furnishings, old tube TVs, and the faint smell of cigarette smoke. When booking, be sure to specify room type, as decor varies greatly between towers. There are a total of 1,329 rooms and many different room categories at the Showboat.
